Introduce yourself:
My name is Aurélien. I am 37 years old and have been a Linker for 12 years now. I run a validation service center for one of our main customers in Île de France.
What is your background?
The last twelve years at IT Link have been rich! I have had the chance to work on various projects in the automotive industry.
I joined the Group in November 2010 as an electronic validation consultant.
In 2018, I was responsible for the planning and technical supervision of a team of flying analysts, in other words experts in diagnostics.
Then, I was in charge of animating defect sheets.
Today, I am in charge of a service center where I manage more than thirty Linkers.
What does the job of Service Center Manager consist of?
My work revolves around two axes:
- The first is to manage a team of experts in electronic integration responsible for validating and making reliable the functions embedded in the vehicles of the future. This team is therefore the last line of defence before the final product is marketed.
- The second is to plan the tests and supervise the technical deliverables produced by the team.
What qualities do you think are required for this job?
You have to be organized and enjoy working in a team. You must also know how to manage it on a daily basis while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your passion in life?
I have been passionate about cars since a young age and more particularly cars from the 80s to the present day. I am also an amateur pilot in my spare time.
