Introduce yourself

My name is Oussama, I am 26 years old.
I am a Vehicle Validation Coordination Engineer within the validation team in Casablanca, Morocco.

What is your background?

I am an electrical engineer specializing in industrial computing, with more than five years of experience in the automotive industry.

Before joining IT Link, I worked as an after-sales schematic pilot in a multinational company.

My adventure within the Group began about two years ago, as a “GV2”, or in other words “Flying Engineer”, in a project to launch MHEV technology, at the Kenitra plant.

Thanks to our team and the know-how of IT Link, we successfully completed the project, guaranteeing total customer satisfaction.

Today and after the end of this project, I moved into the validation sector, as a vehicle validation coordination engineer for a major automotive group.

At the same time, I went back to school. I am in the final year of management training to evolve within the Group towards a position with managerial functions.

What does ICVV's job consist of?

My role is to facilitate and organize follow-up meetings to monitor the progress of the tests, while ensuring effective coordination between the project team and the validation team, to ensure smooth communication.

I also participate in the planning of tests and the preparation of vehicles, including the download of software, the remote coding of the computers, as well as the filtering of test plans.

In addition, I support the validation team to analyze and confirm the defects detected during the tests, while ensuring that they meet the requirements given by the customer.

Finally, I lead defect reviews by coordinating corrective actions and monitoring progress.

What do you like the most about your job?

What I appreciate in my work is to have an overview of the progress of projects, by integrating coordination and management aspects while keeping a foot in the technical field.

In addition, as an ICVV, we are responsible for test vehicles, which places us on the front line in the face of the unexpected. In the event of a problem, we must react as quickly as possible to ensure the progress of the tests. This means constantly taking on technical challenges, which feeds our competitive spirit.

Do you have a passion or a hobby in life?

As a car enthusiast, I am a big fan of Formula 1!
At the same time, sport is an integral part of my life, especially soccer, which I play regularly with my colleagues.
