Hello, I am Luc and I have been working at RADès since 2015 as a consultant.

My evolution at Radès began with three years of missions in the banking field. Then I expressed the desire to resume additional training in information systems architecture and the company supported me in this process. Since then, I have been working in a slightly more transversal role within the company, both in training and in business in addition to the various missions that I can have.

At Radès, for our main activity, which is supervision, we use different technologies.
On the back-end side, we use languages like Java, Python, C#, accompanied by frameworks based on actor models, all in a DDD (Data Driven & Design) logic. Then on the front-end side, we will instead use classical technologies such as Angular or React.

On the data side, we will mainly use the Elastic Stack. We have several certified people in the company, but we also use different databases, whether SQL or NoSQL. We also do graph analytics. then we do a bit of graph.

For the rest of our activities, apart from supervision, it depends on different customers. We may also use software packages from the banking sector.

We have various challenges related to the fact that we work on projects at the crossroads of functional and technical fields, and also because our customers have information systems that have been old for several decades;
There have been purchases, mergers, acquisitions of various companies and as a result the information systems are therefore quite complex.

The various challenges: The first are the large volumes of data on which we work and on real-time issues. The second challenge is related to the heterogeneity of the technologies on which we are going to work, using very old mainframe technologies up to much more recent technologies such as containers for example.Finally, the last issue on which we are working is linked to the criticality of the business processes that we supervise, for which our customers may have high stakes or strong reputational and financial risks.
