My name is Rémy, and I am a Business Manager at IT Link in the automotive division in Paris.

What is your background?

After a Bac S, I continued my studies in computer science at EPITA. In the last year, I opted for a specialization in IT project/team management. It is thanks to this specialization that I joined IT Link for a 6-month internship as a BM.

As a result of this internship, I was hired. It has now been 1 year since I joined the company.

What does the job of BM consist of?

The role of BM is based on three axes:

• Supporting our customers in their innovation projects and development
• Support our consultants throughout their projects and careers within the IT Link Group.
• And of course, conquering new markets to ensure the growth of the company, which allows us to offer our consultants new projects in line with their expectations.

What do you like the most about your job?

What I like the most about my job is the relationship. Whether with our customers or our consultants.

I particularly like to talk to consultants with whom I will be able to create a relationship of trust, which is very important for good support throughout their career in the Group.

Your passion in life?

On the other hand, I do not necessarily have a passion, I am very curious, I am interested in a lot of things and in particular in the passions of the people I love, which allows me to have experiences with them.

The Business Manager is a real conductor within a company. He is responsible for the growth of the turnover of a specific business sector. To do this, he relies on a solid knowledge of his market and the needs of his clients, he also has excellent negotiation skills.

Technical support is an essential part of his job.
