My name is Ahmed, I am 29 years old. I have been with IT Link for 1 year, as a Test and Validation Engineer for Automotive Embedded Systems. I work for one of our main customers, based in Casablanca, Morocco.

What is your background?

My academic career is oriented towards embedded systems and the automobile with a Master in Embedded Systems for the automotive industry. On the professional side, I have six years of experience, in particular in testing and validating electrical and electronic systems, as well as in the development of electrical harnesses.

What does the job of vehicle test and validation engineer consist of?

The job of Test and Validation Engineer consists in ensuring the reliability, performance and compliance of embedded systems in vehicles.

Concretely, I carry out tests on electrical, electronic and embedded software systems to verify that they meet technical requirements and safety standards.

I am also responsible for analyzing results, detecting anomalies, and working with development teams to correct possible faults.

What do you like the most about your job

What I like the most about my job is the diversity of tasks and the technical challenges it presents. Each project is unique, which allows me to constantly learn and innovate. I particularly appreciate the fact that I contribute directly to the safety and quality of vehicles, knowing that my job has a concrete impact on the experience of end users.

Your passion in life?

I am not really passionate about one thing, but I am curious. I like to discover different aspects of my field, especially in the automotive industry. I would like to test new technologies, learn new skills, and see what interests me over time.
