Introduce yourself

My name is Anas, I am 29 years old. I have been a Linker for two years and I am responsible for an electronic electrical validation team within the Powertrain perimeter, for one of our customers in the automotive sector in Morocco.

What is your background?

After obtaining my engineering degree in electromechanics and industrial systems from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers in Meknès, I started my career in a consulting company as an electrical and electronic architectural engineer, on a project for an automotive client, then as a technical pilot for the team.

In 2023, I started a new professional adventure with IT Link as Team Leader of the electronic electrical validation team. Precisely, on the Powertrain perimeter.

What does your job consist of?

As a Team Leader in the validation of electronic electrical systems on the Powertrain perimeter, I lead a multidisciplinary team, composed of several expert profiles. I distribute tasks, monitor progress on a daily basis, and coordinate the team to ensure work efficiency.

I organize weekly follow-ups to adjust priorities and monthly follow-ups with the client to validate the result and guarantee the achievement of objectives.

The team that I lead includes:

  • validation managers responsible for monitoring the development and validation of Powertrain ECU software to ensure that it meets technical and performance requirements.

  • flying analysts who are experts in diagnostics who intervene to identify the causes of breakdowns and propose appropriate solutions.

  • validation engineers responsible for the verification and validation of EE functions and software, whether on HIL (Hardware In the Loop) benches or on vehicle test equipment.

My role is therefore to coordinate this diversity of skills, in order to guarantee the quality of validations and compliance with customer requirements.

What are the qualities required to do this job?

As a Team Leader, you need to be able to motivate and lead the team to achieve goals while ensuring customer satisfaction. You have to be organized, responsive and know how to make quick decisions. You also need to be responsible, resolve conflicts effectively, and adapt to changes to maintain performance and service quality.

Do you have a passion, a hobby?

Outside of work, I love to travel and explore new places. I also like to spend time in nature, whether by the sea or in the mountains.
