On the occasion of World Clean Up Day, The SeaCleaners organize a large waste collection in Saint Malo, Saturday September 19, 2020.

Several itineraries will be offered in groups of 10 people maximum in order to respect current health measures, on the beaches, docks but also within the fortified city.

What is The SeaCleaners?

The SeaCleaners is an association under the 1901 law whose aim is to fight against marine pollution. To do this, it sets up preventive and awareness-raising actions for various audiences such as schools, businesses and administrations.

The SeaCleaners also acts in a curative way against marine pollution. Its R&D team is working on a factory boat project called “Manta” which will aim to pyrolyze macro marine litter. This pyrolysis will make it possible on the one hand to collect the waste and on the other hand to power the boat's engines to ensure, in part, its operation.
