Job description
Your mission:
- Design and develop test software for Windows, using Python.
- You will be involved in all phases of development, from design to validation, integration and implementation.
Your responsibilities :
- Develop robust and efficient Python scripts for automated testing.
- Master and implement the pytest testing framework.
- Participate in the design and execution of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests.
- Use laboratory equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define test requirements and analyze results.
- Document test procedures and results.
Profile
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in test software development.
- Excellent command of Python and the pytest framework.
- Knowledge of C++ (an asset).
- Experience with embedded hardware.
- Laboratory and HIL testing experience.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Autonomy, rigor and organizational skills.
Recruitment process
A physical meeting at the offices of IT Link in Montreal. There may be a short call beforehand to gauge your interest.
A second or third meeting with the project's technical team and management to sign the contract.
